Stunning view from the room

The highlight of my stay was waking up to the breathtaking sunrise over the port every morning. The staff were exceptionally attentive and made me feel welcome throughout my stay.

However, I found the placement of the electrical outlet by the bed quite inconvenient, as it was located in the headboard rather than more accessible areas.

The spacious room offered breathtaking harbor views, making it an excellent base for cycling. Breakfast was a delightful start to my day, but managing laundry took longer than expected.

while the location was nearly picture perfect, the air conditioning reeked of mold and just a surface clean? really? also, i was expecting an upgrade for my troubles, but clearly, that’s not how they roll here. even the breakfast disaster was the icing on the cake! i almost gave a good review, but just couldn’t.

The impressively large room was conveniently located near Onomichi station, making it an excellent starting point for my Shimanami Kaido ride. The amenities provided were great, and I appreciated the proximity to local restaurants and the bicycle rental pier. The staff were approachable and accommodating, which contributed significantly to my positive experience during this stay.

Breakfast items ran out quickly.

My stay at Sakura Hotel Onomichi Ekimae was delightful! The room was a spacious 'Single Room with Sea View' that offered a breathtaking view of the port and sea. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming me with smiles and offering valuable recommendations for exploring nearby attractions.

I faced a lot of inconvenience due to the room layout. The electricity outlet by the bed was tucked away in the headboard, making it very difficult to charge my devices. Additionally, breakfast on my second morning was a disaster. the staff mixed up my order, and I was left with no options despite having paid for a set meal.

It was just a proper fit for a mini-vacation in Onomichi with fantastic value for money. The highlight of my stay was the incredible view from my room, waking up to the sunrise over the port. Check a local café for fresh breakfast options nearby instead of relying on the hotel.
